You can manually cancel your own spot in a class on Momence. If there is more than 12 hours to go before the class, this will be an ‘early cancel’ and your credit will go straight back to your Momence account. If there is less than 12 hours to go before the class, you will be marked as a ‘late cancel’ and your credit will not be returned to your account. You may incur fees depending on your membership.

Please come ten minutes early to class. If you are late to class, you will not be let it. While we know this is super disappointing, it is our policy that anybody who is late cannot participate in the class because a) they have missed the warm up and it is not safe to join the class b) they have missed the opportunity to speak to the teacher about any injuries/conditions they may have and c) it is disruptive to other classmates. If you miss the class, you will lose your class credit. If you are on an unlimited intro offer or membership, you will incur late cancellation fee/no show fees of £10/£15 respectively.

Pilates is a functional form of exercise, meaning that it prepares the body for healthy movement in daily activities. Pilates involves repetitive movements which move the spine in all planes, whilst teaching core and pelvic stabilisation. It was invented by Joseph PIlates in the early 20th century.

This is dependant on many factors. From personal experience, our studio owner, Emma Henderson, recommends doing 30-60 minutes of pilates (or yoga or barre) at least three times a week for around three weeks to start seeing results. Joseph Pilates said “In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, and in 30 you'll have a whole new body.”
